Personal Trainer Never Do’s | Never Say this to your Client

Never overwhelm your client! It’s tempting to tell your client all the changes they need to make in one go, and then they have all the relevant information to progress, right?

Wrong.

The more changes you give them, the more chance of failure.

Would you rather have a client and:

A. Act on nothing and tell them 1000 amazing things

B. Act on one thing and tell them one thing

C. Act on 2 things and tell them 5 things

To the surprise of a lot of people, C is NOT the right decision. Why? Even if two things have been successfully acted on, your client will still see failure, because some tasks were not reached.

Only give your client one small habit to change at a time; this is much more likely to strengthen their discipline.

A CONFUSED CLIENT DOES NOT BUY. AN OVERWHELMED CLIENT DOES NOT SUCCEED.
